Extras are small add-ons for customising a bowl or plate: a tea-stained egg, fresh chillies, katsu pickles, pickled ginger, kimchee or an extra portion of curry sauce. Every extra on the national menu is the same price, so they are a cheap way to add heat, sharpness or a little more protein to a main. Extra curry sauce can be katsu, firecracker or raisukaree. Larger protein upgrades are priced separately inside each section of the menu.
