1. What we collect

  • Reports and messages you send us (the “Report an outdated price” and contact forms): your message, the page, and optionally your email address. We use these only to check and correct information and, if you gave an email, to reply.
  • Technical data processed by our hosting and security provider ({HOSTING_PROVIDER, e.g. Cloudflare}): IP address, browser and request details, used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We keep a one-way hash of the IP address for up to 24 hours for rate-limiting forms.
  • Analytics (only if you consent where consent is required): pages viewed and approximate location, via Google Analytics 4.
  • Advertising: this site will show ads from Google AdSense; this section will be updated when ads go live.

2. Legal bases (UK/EU)

  • Form messages: legitimate interests (keeping our information accurate) or consent.
  • Analytics and personalised advertising cookies: consent, collected through our consent tool (Google's certified consent management platform).
  • Security and delivery: legitimate interests.

3. Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any non-essential cookies are used, and can change their choice at any time via “Privacy & cookie settings” in the footer. 4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share data only with service providers acting for us (hosting, analytics, advertising) and where required by law.

5. Retention

Form reports are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Rate-limit hashes are deleted after 24 hours.

6. Your rights

  • UK/EU: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent; you can complain to the ICO (UK) or your local authority.
  • US state privacy laws (e.g. California): right to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, use the privacy settings link in the footer.
  • Canada (PIPEDA) and Australia (Privacy Act 1988): access and correction of your personal information, and complaint to the OPC (Canada) or OAIC (Australia).

7. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EEA) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top.
