Côte's main menu opens with breads and boards "for the table" and a list of classic French starters. The sharing options include a baguette with Brittany butter, garlic fougasse, a baked camembert and a charcuterie board where you choose three meats. Starters run from French onion soup and a twice-baked soufflé to chicken liver parfait, calamari, garlic and chilli king prawns and sautéed scallops. The main menu is served from 11:30am every day.

The "Côte Icons" are the brasserie's core main courses: steak frites with free-flow frites, poulet Breton (half or whole roast corn-fed chicken), confit pork belly, duck confit, beef bourguignon, salmon béarnaise, a Breton fish stew, plaice frites and moules marinière. The Côte Butchery section is the steak menu: a 7oz fillet, an 8oz sirloin and a 10oz ribeye. Each is served with a baby gem wedge and free-flow frites, so the price covers a complete plate. Sauces and flavoured butters are ordered separately from the sauces list, and extra sides such as gratin dauphinois or creamed spinach can be added. The minute steak in the steak frites dish is a cheaper, smaller alternative listed with the classics.

Côte runs two fixed-price menus alongside the à la carte. The Prix Fixe offers a short choice of starters, mains and desserts at a set price for two or three courses, from 11.30am Monday to Friday; dishes include soup, rillettes, steak frites, a pasta and a fish parmentier, with some supplements. The kids' menu works the same way, with two or three courses for a fixed price. Both prices below are those shown for the York restaurant.

Breakfast covers cooked plates, eggs and pastries. The Côte breakfast and a veggie breakfast share one price, and there is a sirloin steak with a fried egg.
